Anxiety, a widespread problem of our time, protagonist in CARDI
Carlos Díaz Hernández is a university professor of Philosophy and History of religions, author of more than 150 publications that has achieved recognition such as Social Ethics and social thought Emmanuel Mounier and "Giant of the spirit".
On March 7, at five in the afternoon, he led the conference "Let's talk about anxiety" held in the auditorium of the Development Support and Recovery Center Integral (CARDI), socio-sanitary project of the Augustinian Recoletos in Mexico City.
The conference is part of the training cycle of the first semester of 2023, which is offered both the workers and volunteers of the center and those interested in the civil society. There were a few people in the room, once the face-to-face activities of the Center, and many others participated through the platforms virtual.
The speaker focused on the evangelical reference of Jesus healing people's wounds to remember that mental illnesses are gaining visibility in our society, being more known and best served. Anxiety is one of the causes of the most patients.
CARDI focuses its training offer precisely on self-knowledge and the creation of a correct self-esteem, handling feelings, interpersonal relationships and their connection with the spiritual experience. Those who attend his talks learn about themselves and also on how to collaborate with other people in their integral human development.
In this context, this conference on anxiety has provided constructive tools both to defend yourself personally from the tendency or from the anxiety attacks themselves, as well as to help those who suffer.
