O Leader! • Lord deliverer

giver of the Law to Moses on Sinai:
come to rescue us with your mighty power!”
Remembering the wonders you did with the people of the Alliance, freeing them from their slavery, we recognize you as the Lord of history and our liberator.
Look also at us, slaves of inequality and injustices that denigrate the condition and dignity of a large part of humanity, immersed in processes of massification, fragmentation and waste; Witness the tragic condition of migrants and the suffering of countries at war and be ashamed of the scandals within the Church.
That in listening to your Word we experience your lordship in our hearts and institutions. May your Spirit educate us in a truly synodal mentality that leads us, with boldness and freedom of heart, to a process of conversion to listen to the cry of the poor and of the earth, and to recognize the seeds of hope and the future.
Give us shepherds who, like Moses, take their shoes off before the sacred ground of all humanity and introduce us to the law of Love, by which Jesus makes us free men.
Come quickly, Lord, come liberator!
